ABOUT US

(Kent) Artillery is based at Fort Amherst Chatham Kent; an actual Napoleonic Fort built to defend the Royal Dockyard at Chatham.

The Artillery meets on the first Sunday of every month to carry out firings of the Fort's reproduction 9pdr cannon.The reconstruction of a 6pdr field gun is now complete and can be used for battle re-enactments.

We have a fully recreated `Living History` encampment where we can live, eat and sleep as authentically as possible not only at the Fort but also on trips around the Country and on the Continent.

New recruits are always most welcome, men and women who are keen to join the only profession in Wellingtons Army.
