Opening for 2010
The
parkland grounds of Fort Amherst are open free of charge
to visitors daily on Monday to Friday from 10am to 3.30pm.
The tunnels and buildings are closed for the winter.

- Whilst
Fort Amherst welcomes all visitors, this historic
site has places with difficult stairs and passageways
and wheelchair access is limited. There are also a large
number of steps and slopes throughout the site.
- There
are many uneven paths on the site and flat footwear
is recommended.
