KIDS’ WORKSHOPS

(During school holidays – check calendar for dates and prices) Children can burn off energy in the fresh air and learn about nature, too! Explore Fort Amherst’s Nature Trail with a nature expert, and then make a bat, bird, butterfly or ladybird house to take home. Adult supervision required.

Napoleonic re-enactment displays

See the 3 Regiment of Foot and the King's German Artillery portraying the life of soldiers during the Napoleonic Wars. A FREE entry event!

Summer Proms Concert

The fantastic Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra in concert. A FREE afternoon of music in a beautiful setting. Light refreshments and bar on site, or bring your own. Sit and enjoy in the amphitheatre seating or have a picnic on the lawns.

Summer Proms Concert

The amazing and highly entertaining Five in the Bar band. Playing swing and other things, from Sinatra to Bublé and Show Stoppers from hit musicals. Featuring 60's hit recording artist Dorian Gray. A FREE afternoon of music in a beautiful setting. Light refreshments and bar on site, or bring your own. Sit and enjoy in the amphitheatre seating or have a picnic on the lawns.

Summer Proms Concert

The Bettestiener Footstompers Bavarian Band bring the music and song of the traditional German Bier Keller to Fort Amherst. A FREE afternoon of music in a beautiful setting. Light refreshments and bar on site, or bring your own. Sit and enjoy in the amphitheatre seating or have a picnic on the lawns. Lederhosen welcome but don't mention the Womens' Euros!

Summer Proms Concert

Medway's own musical star, Jamie Johnson and the Lucky 13s. A seven piece band, soaked in soul! With flavours of blues, funk, gospel and rock thrown in for good measure! A FREE afternoon of music in a beautiful setting. Light refreshments and bar on site, or bring your own. Sit and enjoy in the amphitheatre seating or have a picnic on the lawns. This is the last concert of the Fort Amherst Summer proms Season.

Your Majesty! A Right Royal Revue.

The ever popular Kentish Players present a musical celebration of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee year performed in the stunning setting of the Spur Battery Amphitheatre on the heights of Fort Amherst above Chatham.
